It looks like trump’s attack on representative Omar has not gone well. Nice to see the Democrats not just take this. I wasnt sure AOC would be important but it looks like other dems are following her including Bernie calling trump on being racist. Not the worst president of all time but probably the worst domestically in 30 years or perhaps ever. Reagan was awful if you were black but it seems most didnt care. Maybe because of no internet?? My guess is we are more divided now and that there was a lot of obliviousness in the 80s.
It’s still bad. The amount of blacks in prisons. The amount of nonviolent offenders in prisons. We are more aware but not much seems to get done about it. That can teach a little empathy.
My friend who killed someone driving just got released from prison. I have mixed feelings. I don’t think he should be free and not because of punishment. I don’t trust him. Sad.
Someone from Bernie’s campaign asked if I wanted to lead a gathering in the area. I do work 48 hours a week so that’s tough to do. I would help. I think he will win NH which is the 2nd state that votes in the primaries. The woman next to me that I don’t think likes me is an angry liberal that ran for office in town. Maybe they should ask her lol. I’ve never had my own yard to put a sign in. Might be time for a Bernie sign.

Yes. He was free in between killing someone and going to jail and had a violation of driving with a revoked license in that time. I would never want to drive again.
Buttigieg is gaining momentum on Bernie. He’s a white guy from Indiana so that might help him in the general if he wins. He’s not my first choice but I’m surprised hes not the Democrats first choice. He might be the second choice. Could be a good running mate too.

I’m having a hard time picturing anyone beating Trump to be honest. That disgusts me but it remains true in my case. I mean, this guy looks great and he’s obviously vastly more intelligent than Trump but so is my cat and so was Hillary and neither could beat Trump. Obviously for a large number of Americans, intelligence doesn’t matter.
