I donāt wish death on transgenders. I simply donāt care if they die.
To not mind if individuals of a group die only because they feel they stuck in the wrong body and get bullied, denied medical help and legally discriminated without any justified reason, is not just empathyless but morally wrong. And no, your or any God isnāt a reasonable justification as there is no proof a deity exists while that transgender person does. In that sense, any non-religious person who supports transgender shows more āmercyā and love than any of those religious zealots who donāt, only because their Mighty Pumpkin says so.

I didnāt realize driverās licenses had the gender written on them. Mine has had an incorrect height forever. It says Iām 6 ft. Iām 5ā10.ā Maybe all the hiking pushed my legs upwards. I have a long wingspan though. Iām surprised thatās not on my license.
If someone wears colored contacts, should they have to put that on their license?
Lyft is offering discounts to the people in Kansas that have lost their license because of this. They were given 0 days notice once it went into effect.
I think itās a stupid, bigoted law, but my outrage is a 2 on a scale from 1 to 10.
Mine is 10 out of 10. I wish transgenders would be forced to stay home.

with the distances in usa they basically are forced to stay home, may they successfully sue this bigoted nonsense and may you enjoy paying for their unemployment benefits while they cant work

My level of outrage would be higher if I lived in Kansas.
To enforce this law, citizens will look at someoneās driverās license, guess that it doesnāt match their birth gender, put the personās name in their phone so they donāt forget, tattle at the dmv, and get $1000. What a waste of time and taxpayer money. Theyād be better off giving that money to me and I donāt even live in Kansas.
I just looked at my license. I weighed 20 lbs more than I did in 1996. It has the wrong weight. Iād still call my hair brown. It does have the correct gender. I used to wear glasses but got lasik in 2008, passed an eye test and restrictions have been moved.
Imagine we had to update this every time someone dyed their hair?

I was curious about this. I didnāt think Kansas would have unemployment benefits, but it appears they do. It seems you need a driverās license to claim them, though, which is a bit difficult here.
This whole thing is vindictive idiocy. Even if they felt the need to change this law, it would have been less harmful and vastly less disruptive to just make them change it on renewal.
Took them awhile to clue in but good they finally did.
