The Pope

And I’m not trying to get you worked up either. I just didn’t expect the Victor of the Son of God to use that kind of language to express his view. That’s not at all how I picture Jesus.

The Pope hates both Harris and Trump.

That bs doesn’t fool me or anyone else. The Pope has a snake in the sanctuary so nobody cares what he thinks. He wants to build an abominable bridge between the Church and the homosexual community. I’m neither interested or impressed by his views and I definitely don’t believe he should be getting any media attention.

Erika’s not excited about that, either.

That’s right. She’s Catholic. I don’t know why I was thinking you had the same view. Did you notice, Dan hasn’t said a word about it. I don’t think Dan cares.

I do have the same view. I do not support forcing churches to do gay marriages against their teachings. I support gay marriage personally, but I do not support forcing others to support gay marriage.

Oh, I’m not surprised you have that view but I was talking about that pope selling out the church.

I’m not sure on that one. He has huge pressure to pretend that he likes homos. If he doesn’t do that, the gay lobby will try (and probably succeed) in harming the church. He may be doing what’s best for the church by pretending to like them so that they don’t try to destroy the church entirely.

What makes you think he pretends?

The fact that he has done absolutely nothing to open up the church to homos makes me think that. He says stuff like “only God can judge”, but he hasn’t opened up a single position in the church to homos. They still can’t be priests, bishops, or even deacons.

It is true that I don’t care what the pope thinks.

Oh, no. You misunderstand. I’m not surprised. Lucifer is the author of confusion. I wasn’t asking what that pope thinks. Godfather of the Mafia has cleaner thoughts. I was wondering what you thought about the pope selling the church out to appease the elitist reset plan.

Even a homosexual would have to repent and turn away from that lifestyle and honestly I don’t think homosexuals care about anything beyond the recognition as one who appears to be saved. If they did, we wouldn’t still be calling them homosexuals. No, the pope gave them what they wanted. He sold it to them, hook, line and sinker. Now millions of homosexuals believe they can sin and their sin is blessed.

You would approve of a homosexual giving council on the consequences of sin on Sunday knowing they were sinning on Saturday night? Do you think one should take their advice to do as I say, not as I do? Would you?

I didn’t say anything about approving of it.

I will note that I currently attend the Spanish service at a Catholic Church with Isa most Sundays and, because nobody wants to be a priest these days, the priests are mostly Haitians. You know, the people Trump says eat cats. I don’t love the Haitian priests because their Spanish is crap. They seem pleasant enough but I can’t understand them. In the past I attended a United Church where the pastor was a homo. He was white and pleasant and spoke perfect English.

Of the two, I preferred the homo pastor.

What are they preaching on in church, Reg?

It’s like learning code for programmers. Keep listening, even if you think there’s no way you’re ever going to understand it and eventually, it will all start making sense, provided you are being exposed to the truth and the hour.

Mostly platitudes about being a good person. The Catholic Church focuses on works and not faith, which I approve of. They accept the concept of grace, but faith without works is dead, as the saying goes.

What purpose does Grace serve if salvation is by works?

Nobody said salvation is by works. Salvation is by grace. That doesn’t mean that works are useless. Republicans often say, “eff it, salvation is by grace, so I can live my life as a POS”. This is nonsense. If you are in a state of grace, you will do good works.

I am aware of that, Reg, but you said the Catholic Church focuses on works.

Correct. What use is there to focus on grace? You have it or you don’t. Focus on the things you can control, namely works.

But…if you have faith don’t you just produce works naturally? And if you ignore grace and your works don’t measure up, what will you turn to? Not mercy or grace. You reject those things as unimportant.
