I’m surprised because you come across as quite emotional and I would have expected a more emotional and less rational reaction, possibly involving guns since you’re a republican.

Of course not. My mother tells a story about when I was 8, in grade 2. The school had a field trip to a farm about 20 km away and I dutifully went along. When they did the roll call at noon, however, Reggie was nowhere to be found. They searched the farm, called the police, issued an alert and the whole city was looking for me. About 5 pm, I walked into the house and my hysterical parents asked me what had happened. I told them I had walked home because the farm smelled like shit.
