The shooter didn’t use any of those things. In fact, those things are never used in mass shootings. That’s why they’re called mass shootings and not “mass killings involving bricks”.

Yes, Michele, I do think he is “above using another method to kill” because the simple fact is that almost nobody ever does that. There have been exactly zero mass killings using flammable liquids, bricks and bats that I’m aware of. The ones involving automobiles and knives are so rare that I can only remember a few in my lifetime. On the other hand, there have been 550 mass shootings so far in 2023 in your country alone.

This notion that “if they didn’t have a gun they’d use something else” is just total nonsense and is not borne out by the facts in evidence.

Yeah, that’s something like 1.01 bullets for every death. One car has the potential to kill a dozen at once and injuring more than that. In Canada, where you have a law against open carry, the number of deaths by gun has consistently risen since 2018. What good has your law done?

In Canada alone, stabbings, beatings, strangulations and death by fire have been preferred forms of homicide behind shootings.
Globally speaking, automobiles are rising as a preferred weapon for mass murder.
In America, everything from cutting instruments and clubs to asphyxiation and fire, poisoning and drowning have been used and that was just in 2022 alone but I suppose we can dismiss those methods since each of those methods only yielded on average one person.
