I don’t agree with that. A label won’t change the contents of something. Daniel’s not doing that here, imo. He is acknowledging that some of the things he has been drawn to are actually very self destructive. Very healthy.
You may be right. Perhaps I just read it wrong. Maybe on the one hand is schizophrenia and on the other is a split personality. Half-breed.

I think it has to do with a man doing some serious reflection and self-assessment, looking at his actions and the results of those actions, and trying to become a better person. He is not a good person now. I think he knows that. I wasn’t at his age either. He might become one, however. I believe I did. I wish him luck, although I doubt he’ll have much as long as he stays in Europe.
