I’m no dog trainer but I’m pretty sure you can’t train a dog by poisoning them so don’t treat me like I’m suggesting you poison a dog. You can make a dog do anything with words and maybe hand motions. I don’t advocate shooting them with a .357 loaded with hollow point bullets, unless they are attacking you. Tell me, Mark, what is your method for gaining control of a mad dog? Perhaps a little tickle behind the ears? You would be devoured by that method. At the very least, you would lose an arm. Pits have no sense when they are in attack mode.

Aww, I love the fun uncle. What a smart and patient dog. Lord knows, all dogs are not created equal. He makes his work with the puppies seem so natural and effortless. We should all strive to be like this dog.
I remember bottles, diapers and 2 hour feedings. Lots of work with no relief the first year made me cry every single day. I wouldn’t wish that on anyone.

What are all the different versions of pit bull? I’m sure you have a Euro version of the American breed by now. Just like these dobermans.
Also we need the evolution of breeding. Some breeds, the traits they are focusing on are coming out overpronounced and making their lives one of suffering. I have noticed some pit bulls looking more and more like they have hip issues similar to bull dogs. I remember the breed really being showed off the climb up vertical fences wood walls close to 20 feet high.
Maybe dog behavior class should be mandatory for owners. I didn’t know there even existed a DPC or Dog Psychology Center. Might be a new degree offered at some institutions, I wouldn’t know. Here this looks like a good female pit bull that drastically turns violent when her female owner appears. Maybe it was just a “see a guy you like and latch on to him by the arm (or leg) and don’t go until he’s yours” thing, but this was unforeseen.
Cesar handles it good but the bites were superficial to needing stitches. I still feel uncomfortable around dogs without a leash myself. I would need some training to have a dog obey me without a leash.
Being a weak or irresponsible owner can spell doom for the breed overall.

I’m sure Nico has a video of him playing nicely a few weeks ago. Of course that means he is totally safe and it’s all the owners fault that he mauled a 3 year old boy to death.

A 3 year old kid gets mauled to death by two pit bulls and you want me to see beauty in that? I see beauty in the dogs being euthanized.
Pit Bulls don’t seem to understand horses or behave well around them. The horses aren’t even being bullies. They attacks seem to come when the horses are working or behaving under owner instructions or tethered.
