Olympics

7 golds so far for Japan. China should get a bunch with diving coming up, but they keep choking.

USA men looked so happy to get bronze and China was devastated to choke the gold away.

everyone that follows the olympics remembers her mental health issues, when you need to jump around to the “music” of taylor swift and beyonce thats no surprise to me

yes its a good example of the power of diversity! well done team usa you got medals in gymnastics
(they really should remove that “sport” from the olympics and introduce mixed hockey and hockey7 lol)

that italian girl shouldve made a real statement and refuse to fight before the match and not after 30 seconds in the match

I didn’t realize the IOC had added violence against women as a sport.

“Khelif is one of two boxers permitted to fight at the Olympics despite being disqualified from the women’s world championships last year for failing testosterone and gender eligibility tests.”

its weird that the olympic committee decided to have other criteria but even more interesting that all those that participate agreed to it instead of boycotting?

ah its political nonsense; there is a fight between olympic committee and boxing federations; boxing might not be in any future olympics!

I wonder if the two biological males will compete in the finals.

That would certainly eliminate the need for women in sports.

The world universally feels that this Italian girl was unfairly harmed. Only a handful of trans extremists is on the other side. The IOC needs to wake the hell up and clue in that we don’t want freak shows for opening ceremonies or men beating up women as Olympic sports.

the italian girl made the choice to step into that ring so it was fair and the opening ceremony was great (besides being a bit too long)

lol a few deluded people from some religious countries that moan do not resemble “the world”
or at least not the sane part

another gold medal in rowing and one in sailing
even leaving canada below us in the ranking list now lol

Nico, you know nothing about the real world. All of Africa, South America, Asia and Eastern Europe think this IOC transanity is lunacy.

A small percentage of Western Europe, the US, Canada and Australia believe this stupidity is valid.

am sure you believe that, just like you believe how everyone in the world was so insulted and upset, they even told their athletes to leave and boycott the olympics eh? lol

fair enough some indeed left the olympic village because of the bad beds and food but as far as i can see exactly 0 countries made an official protest and exactly 0 athletes left the olympics lol

ah nice, even the italian boxing girl realised she was wrong and apologised

edit to include this link with more info:

I couldn’t imagine getting in a boxing ring and beating a woman to a bloody pulp.

Sydney Mclaughlin vs Femke Bol in the 400m is probably the event of track and field. Noah Lyles is probably going to blow everyone out, but I don’t think Mclaughlin is the favorite. She might win hurdles, but I doubt she’ll win 400m. The US track and field team is quite likable. Richardson and Lyles both seem like they’ve overcome a lot.

Amen. Any normal man would flat out refuse to do that no matter what the prize.

yes! looking forward to that race
i do think mclaughlin is the favourite to win because she has ran the faster times, but bol has a good chance

sure, but is this really the case with khelif or is this russian propaganda that is repeated by other media and haters?

from what i can find on the internet this doesnt seem to even be a transgender issue; it appears she was born and raised and lived her whole life as a woman

sure khelif was much better than the italian, but that happens when your opponent is scared in advance
 and guess what? sometimes there are just people that are just much better than others;
its not like she has won everything for years like current french judo legend teddy riner or won as many medals as michael phelps?

khelif competed at tokyo olympics where she won her first match but lost her second and nobody cared at that time
so why now? because the iba disqualified her
but the iba is russian controlled boxing federation and didnt provide proof just disqualified her after she beat a russian
