No, it got a bad reputation because the fact that it is anonymous, unregulated, and transactions cannot be reversed means that it is perfect for criminal usage, and it is therefore heavily used by all major criminal sectors. There is significant speculation that the current rally is being driven by money laundering needs resulting from Brexit. It would be a good test to shoot most major Bitcoin holders and see if that doesn’t significantly reduce money laundering and human trafficking.

The world is quite correctly moving away from anonymous currency transactions. There is absolutely no better way to end most crime than to do that. Bitcoin is antithetical to that, and enables criminals. Every ransomware attack demands payment in Bitcoin. Shoot them. I don’t care what label you want to put on it.

I happen to think that shooting everyone with over 100 million dollars in Bitcoin would be a good step but I would totally settle for just banning it.
