That failure is inexcusable to be considered fit for duty.

Seriously? Try this one.

I tend to agree but it probably wasn’t premeditated.

Stop watching videos. That how you get yourself and others co videod.

Overpursuit of justice and resharing are getting to be worse than the actual crimes and police actions.

This is being handled already, you don’t need to add more trouble.

You are adding too much weight.

Michele you are always trying to get people into trouble.
Stop those efforts and focus on getting yourself out of trouble.

Stop screwing everybody up

I’m going to guess he didn’t kill him on purpose. Not with all those cameras around.

I had to google. The Canadian definition is:

Manslaughter . Definition: A homicide committed without the intention to cause death, although there may have been an intention to cause harm.

It looked deliberate. A court can decide but it looks like murder in the first degree.

Manslaughter implies it was an unintentional consequence of an action, Reg. We don’t know for certain that those officers didn’t know him from some previous encounter, do we? That officer with his knee in Floyd’s neck showed no regard for Floyd’s life. I don’t pity them at all.

I watched your other video. Interesting that it appears the officer dropped a gun near Scott. I may google the story later, if the fish don’t bite lol.

Be quiet. I am not in trouble and You’re distracting from the debate.

It was a taser. His story was that Scott had grabbed his taser so he was forced to shoot him in defense. It was a total fiction. Scott never grabbed the cop’s taser and the cop dropped his taser by Scott’s dead body to frame him.

That one was murder for sure. You don’t shoot someone 8 times in the back if you don’t intend to kill him. He got 20 years which is light for the US. It’s fine to me as long as they don’t let him own guns.

I didn’t see that in your video.

But Mr. Scott soon broke away, unarmed, and began to run again. Mr. Slager raised his pistol, pointed it at Mr. Scott’s back, and fired eight shots. Mr. Scott, who was at least 17 feet from Mr. Slager when the officer opened fire, fell to the ground. Moments after the shooting, Mr. Slager approached Mr. Scott and dropped his Taser near him, an action that prosecutors believed was an attempt to plant evidence and skew the investigation.

I don’t have access to that article.

This video was a little more helpful. Someone took the painstaking time to dissect the entire video.

Honestly, to me, it looks like he did try to go for the officers taser gun. An obvious no-no. I mean, I couldn’t see it clearly enough but maybe you can explain how it landed on the ground behind the officer.

Even if he did go for the cop’s taser, which I am not convinced of, that doesn’t excuse the cop picking it up, carrying it over to the man’s dead body, and then planting it as false evidence on the ground beside the dead man. Nor does it excuse him shooting an unarmed man who was running away 8 times in the back.

He didn’t shoot him 8 times. He fired 8 times. From what I could see in the video, it appeared the Officer was a poor aim and only hit Scott once or twice. Having said that, I’m not excusing the Officer. The video was clear, he tried to frame the dead man to protect himself and 20 years was a slap on the wrist compared to what a man would have received for shooting an officer.

The coroner’s report stated that Scott was struck a total of five times: three times in the back, once in the upper buttocks, and once on one of his ears.

I believe you. Its amazing how strong he was to be able to keep running after repeatedly being shot.

Why they don’t immediately test the officers for meth and steroids is beyond me.
