I’m not sure if the result is doctored, but the negative result was collected before the positive result and there is proof he lied about not traveling before flying to Australia, so his credibility is toast.

The reactions to this are pretty bad. If this thing never existed, nobody would think any less of him than before. And there is now this thing where if someone has a different opinion on anything covid related, some people think the other person is a horrible person. Or an idiot. I don’t think it matters. He has his exemption, in his hands, in writing. If you’re going to give someone a visa, you’re a clown if you turn around and say “oh, we lied, haha, get out”. While they are, in fact, acting like a authoritarian government to their own people, dictating what they can and can’t do, they reviewed and found Djok’s immigration paperwork and covid test failed to meet strict covid regulations.
I think they kept their word. They made it plain that no one plays without vaccination or a qualifying medical exemption. It’s clear he didn’t provide that.
I suspect they would probably feel like fools if they were caught manipulating their application.

I don’t know how you can think that when Djokovic received and provided that written medical exemption, and that it was confirmed at all levels of Australian government that he had in fact received that medical exemption. The clowns changed their mind after seeing how pissed off the public was.
On this you are almost certainly right. I tried to forget about this story and told Isa that I was done talking about it. We had an errand to run at the local shopping mall and she pointed at a huge screen, probably 30 feet across, showing the Djokovic story being covered live. So much for forgetting about this.
