I am getting old and this project is killing me. I am probably ending up with diabetes, when I think of the amount of sweets and fat I was eating those last stressy year. Two more weeks and I hopefully start a healthier life at my job, as the project ends end of April. Driving up north towards the Baltic Sea on 2nd of May. I will take a stop near Dessau, to make the travel easier for my dogs and myself (because of the dogs). My old friends currently are on a camping tour through France and currently camp in the Netherlands and go straight from there to meet me on the 3rd of May at our Baltic Sea destination.
Ah, yes, back to rhe beginning of my post. I realized it last night, as I was watching those perfect beginnings of Die Hard 2, where Bruce Willis stands in Harlem with that huge I hate nigger sign around his neck, and yet thought to myself, I am too tired. I need to go to bed. And I switched off the tv and went to bed. Like I did for minimum the last 6 months. This was the last project of my life. But as a plus, I got 4 instead of 3 home office days from May on. Yeah!
I envy you these road trips even though I know I wouldn’t enjoy them. I’m getting too old for road trips. I googled Dessau. North German towns do not look as nice as Bayern towns. If you are really going to the Baltic Sea, you will be near Kiel and not far from København. It is nice that you have these places so close.
