Did you ever read the books?
No but I probably should have. I have heard the movie did not do a good job in regards to the plot of the books.
Those books, especially the first one, totally captured my imagination when I was a kid. I doubt they would be as magical if I re-read them at age 55 but it’s not likely I’ll ever try so it matters little.

A good movie to cite in defense of yourself.
This was kind of “dem” turn off to me. That’s when they really started getting into debt and abusing towards me.
This is worse. When they started thinking they were the last line of defense protecting the innocent from demons.
