The only fair thing I can say about Biden is that his accomplishments are unmatched. Their campaign is against their own administration. They could have lowered the cost years ago. Why didn’t they? I don’t know the answer to that but I can easily assume someone in government was profiting from keeping drugs high. Fortunately, Kumala is putting her collective bargaining power to good use for our entertainment.
Dear God, Michele, you really are determined to look silly. He DID it years ago. Two years ago to be specific. In 2022, Biden signed the Inflation Reduction Act into law. This allowed the US government to negotiate drug prices with pharmaceutical companies. It repealed the Bush law which forbade the US government from negotiating such prices.
This week’s reduction in insulin (and a few other drug) prices was simply the first successful renegotiation of prices under Biden’s 2022 law.
He’s held a position in congress for more than 50 years. What took him so long?
He became president in January of 2021. By August of 2022, he had repealed the idiotic Bush law that forbade government from negotiating prices, and he had implemented a new law that allowed them to do exactly that. At that point (two years ago), he capped insulin at $35/mo for anyone on Medicare.
Now, two years after that, he has successfully negotiated the price of insulin even lower, along with several other high priced drugs.
Biden had many flaws but he was a good president. Vastly better than the fat orange idiot.
Every republican voted against it. Harris cast the 101st vote.
They need to be put down for the greater good.
He and Kamala are only lowing prices to get their party re-elected. If they really want prices to go down, they should be encouraging competition. Democrats are stupid though.
Ah, yes. Between 2009 and 2016 the price went up 500%. They had no competition so they were free to do as they pleased so they gave it away and then called it an investment they required redeeming that loss. Trump pounced on that quickly.

Yesterday was the 7 year anniversary of the great sign in Heaven that is going to move us from dark to light but that’s a different subject and if you were being a watcher on the wall you would know that and by default, know who our next president will be.
