Had a 2 hour walk last night after midnight nice to smell the sea water. Picked up a small bag of litter. Saw no other pedestrians just a guy checking his barn and maybe 5 cars. Oddly found a picture on the ground says Accident Site Surrey, BC 2003 on the back picture shows a memorial on the concrete in front it says R I P Art We Love You with a cross.
Good that Eby govt hired 400 health professionals from America in the last 12 months. Bad real bad MLA Menzies BC Conservative is in a video with a man who says that Dr Belland who advocated for decriminalize of meth and heroin and E and crack then with another health care professional set up a business to supply the addicts with whatever our tax dollars paid for. Conflict of interest and totally illegal. The video does not reveal how much money Belland and partner charged the govt or their profit. The video on IG. The Safe Vancouver feed I believe.
Weather here is nicer than yesterday and I slept around 7 dreamless hours.
Had a real hassle calling BMO customer service yesterday and the lady who answered seemed to be using a 4th rate phone in a foreign country. Way back on March 6 2026 paid $13,000 through the ATM at Campbell River, BC to pay my BMO credit card bill a transfer from my bank account. They have put a hold now 11 days on it. Previously they lied and said the hold would be 5-7 business days. Also my debit card worked just fine at the BC Govt pot store in Parksville. It was then declined at Save On. My account has $2,200 in it and the charge was only $100. The customer service lady had no explanation. My receipt from the ATM payment has (#0681) on it. Consistently bad service at that C.R. with 3 employees saying they are H.A. and Indo teller without glasses saying they would beat up a Surrey businessman. Dealt with banks since I was a teen that is the only bank where I heard a teller threaten violence against anyone let alone name the intended victim. Black lady teller my last visit there said Raus set was out while dramatically pointing. Twice as in two seperate visits there a White lady teller H.A. Pointed at three 3 ethnic tellers and said no one cares about them. Only bank in C.R. with graffiti on it or has panhandlers in front of it.
