We are going to get around 20 inches of snow Sunday into Monday. There is a good chance I’ll have to work Monday and then I’m dogsitting for 4 days at someone’s house. I am having someone plow our driveway for the first time ever on Sunday and Monday. It’s $45 lol. I guess I should have done this a long time ago. Assuming I would be home, that would probably take me 6 hours lol.

That’s probably a good deal for both of us. Probably will take him a total of 15 minutes and probably will be plowing the road anyways.

We finally got our first snow in Germany two days ago. Before that, we faced one of the coldest winters since a few if not many years. Nothing extreme, but due to the last mild winters, the media issued extreme warnings including death warning because of icy roads. And indeed, many car crashes happened throughout Germany. And yesterday I slipped on an ice below the snow, while walking my dogs in during lunch break. My neck, my left shoulder and my left hand wrist hurt pretty much, but nothing is broken. I turn the car wheel only with one hand. Hell, we Europeans would all die if we ever would have to face a winter storm like the US faces right now, lol.

I ended up getting the flu. The flu shot was garbage this year. We did get about 20 inches of snow. I got the driveway plowed on Sunday. It was 845 pm on Monday night and the plow guy had not come out, so I texted him at 845, since we had another 8 inches and I needed to know if I should shovel at 4 am. He said his truck ended up in a ditch and needed repair. That was possibly traumatizing, but I’m glad I texted him. I did get another guy to finish the job. Then I woke up at 427 and ended up calling out. Then I dogsat from Tuesday afternoon until Friday morning. It was -20C in the morning, so I couldn’t walk them and worked 5 to 330 even though I was sick. We were supposed to fly to Florida Friday afternoon but my wife has a sinus infection and I have a viral infection. Her sister had a baby, so no point in going. We’ll go later on. I slept 12.5 hours last night. 630 pm to 7 am with nighttime mucinex. That last sentence sounds like a Mark post. I’ll see if I can post the dog pics.

It was difficult to keep from laughing at their blatant carelessness, until one dropped a patient over a cliff. Crazy, good post.
Wow. I hope they get the best treatment if ill or wounded as well as retirement, if they live long enough. They risk their lives for helping humans that much. Impressive footages.

I agree. Apes are the animals I easily can skip in a zoo, because they are that similar to humans. I also usually pass the reptile area very quick, lol.
