Here’s another translation for you. Cold-heartedness is completely acceptable if Reg or Will are spewing forth their beliefs but those expressions are considered unacceptable behavior for some of us. Again, you’re safe and may even be cheered on for the same practice. At the very least you may get a chuckle or two from it.

I post on topics which are of interest to me. As you may or may not have noticed, usually food related, music, nature and a bit of light-hearted humour. I don’t like politics and sucked at debating in school.
I’m a fairly non-confrontational person in the real world so I tend to treat others online exactly the same as I do my physical friends and acquaintances. My agenda for online time is to relax and engage in topics of interest, whilst allowing others to engage in theirs, without judgement or rudeness.

I will continue being me, while you are free to enjoy being (your version of) you.

She doesn’t venture into rough waters and as a result she doesn’t get tossed around. In this, she shows far more wisdom than the rest of us who feel the need to post political opinions on topics which we have no control over. We haven’t learned a damn thing from the fact that our expressing those opinions for the last 50 or so years hasn’t changed anything and we keep doing it.

Why should I be thankful for that? Whether my interests are also interesting to anyone else on an internet forum is completely insignificant in the grand scheme of things. What I am thankful for is that given all the madness and mayhem with the world having been torn a new butthole, those nearest and dearest to me have (thus far) come out unscathed, unlike so many other less fortunate. Priorities, woman!

Yeah, well…about that… I left this open to interpretation as far be it from me to assume that your conduct toward others in this forum is representative of your conduct toward others in your real life setting. Also, in fairness, it is not unheard of for people to assume an online alter ego or become a keyboard warrior by day/house angel by night or vice versa.
