Do you think your actions have ever resulted in someone’s death and you don’t know it. I’m not talking about voting for Bush Jr. Clearly, that resulted in death and those that refuse to believe that just help them sleep at night.
I’m talking about everyday life. Not paying attention at a green light. Making the guy behind you wait for the light to turn green and 15 minutes later he gets an accident and dies and you have no idea.
These seem like they have nothing to do with Israel and they really don’t. To me, people that support Israel and support leaders that support Israel, do not care about humans that they don’t know. I wonder what they would think if there every day actions resulted in someone’s death.

We had a fire in the parking lot today. An employee lot. Someone said it was a cigarette, but it is not that dry out. If that is the case, I would say the employee should be fired and fined heavily to pay for damages and wasting town resources. Not to mention causing a backup for patients and nonsmoking employees trying to get in.
A friend of ours got hit on her motorcycle a few months ago, in fall. Her life is ruined. She has had three or four surgeries already and is looking at more. She can’t walk without her walker and may never be able to again. They talked about amputation.
I mention it because of the guy who hit her. I wasn’t there and didn’t see it, but she told us how he helped her as much as he could, and then went and had a nervous breakdown. He just took someone’s life. She didn’t die, but the 40 healthy years she had left were stolen from her in one careless act of driving. He will never be the same. He will never sleep well again. He will probably see her face in agony every day for the rest of his life.
This totally ended any thought of my getting a motorcycle. I don’t want to spend the rest of my life not being able to walk. I even drive a lot more carefully. I don’t want to see someone’s face in agony every day for the rest of my life because I made a stupid driving error.

The government will pay. There’s no point forcing him into bankruptcy with a million dollars of bills he can’t possibly pay. He will probably do a few months in jail for dangerous driving causing bodily harm or whatever the charge is called, but his life is ruined if he’s a normal person with a normal conscience, which he seems to be. Her life is ruined, period. I sent her a text today, and her reply showed that she is trying to stay upbeat, but her life is ruined.

I agree with anything else you said, but not with this. Glad we are talking about Israel per se and not a certain politician or certain actions, like Jewish settlers in the West Bank for example (to which I 100% disagree with). But to not supporting Israel would also mean death. Support of Hamas, means death.
As long as especially the USA but also all the other supporters of each side, don’t pressure both parties with serious consequences into a two state solution within certain borders, as long as any of those otherwise thinking people don‘t care about those very humans you referred to.

She’s mid 40s. Her remaining years will not be as good as they could have been, but hopefully she will make as much as she can of them.

That’s so sad and I really hate to read stories like that. She had a life but she probably knew the risk of riding on motorcycles and the consequence of a collision, but I pity the man that will mentally pay for that for the rest of his life, especially if he was careless.
