Michele, try to get this. It’s really not complicated. The Torah is part of the Bible. Messianic Jews follow the Torah because it it part of the Bible. They are just Christians with a Jewish mother.
I do get it, Reg. I know what the Torah is. That’s not complicated. I know what messianic Jews are. Not complicated. What I don’t understand is why you don’t see them as real Jews.
Why they’re not real is obvious. They believe in Christ. The moment you believe in Christ, you stop being a Jew (or Muslim or atheist or whatever you were before) and become a Christian.
No, Michele, they’re not, and if you want to think of messianic Jews as real Jews, that’s totally fine with me. I choose not to use that label but if you do, I have no objection at all.
