I don’t reject the Old Testament but I am not under the Covenant of the law. I am under the Covenant of Grace through the sacrificed blood of my Lord and Savior, Yeshua, The Messiah, that covers my sins.

If your intelligence leads you to something different, try tomato ketchup.

If you are not under the covenant of the law, then why are homosexuals under the covenant of the law? Nowhere in the New Testament is homosexuality banned, at least not that I recall.

Well…homosexuality is a sin, Reg. I can’t speak for homosexuals. I can only assume they choose judgment over mercy.

Why is it a sin, Michele? You just said that the old Law doesn’t count anymore. The ban against homosexuality is in the old Law. There is no ban against it in the New Testament. By your own logic, homosexuality should be fine, now.

Here is a list of abominations.

I didn’t say the law doesn’t count. Christ is the Law.

I said the OLD LAW doesn’t count anymore. Christ never mentioned homosexuality. Never. The only part of the Bible that mentions homosexuality is the Old Testament, and you just finished telling me the Old Testament doesn’t count.

Michele, are the Old Testament dictates about stoning still in effect or not? It is a simple question. Yes or no? If they are not, then all Old Testament dictates are not in effect, by obvious logic. This includes the dictates against homosexuality. There are no New Testament dictates against homosexuality. None.

Yes.

Thank you for the straight answer. I then repeat what I wrote below.

Yeah, they are bound by the law. They clearly think they have no sin.

I would add, I want nothing to do with a religion that specifies stoning as a punishment, even if it lets people off on the technicality that none of the people doing the stoning is sinless. That’s stupid. Nobody deserves stoning. Nobody. Some people deserve death, but never by torture. Any religion that specifies that (even if it indulges in some intellectual dishonesty to not carry it out) is sick.

If that were true he wouldn’t support the removal of guns from nonviolent people until merciless violent offenders no longer practice brutal murder.

Different.

Views on torture have nothing to do with gun control.

I’m guessing John McCain was not anti gun. He was anti torture. Bernie is anti both. They have nothing in common with each other.

coughbscough
They have torture in common or at least their disdain for it.

And it’s going so well for the Irish, too!

It’s going well for criminals, immigrants and Muslims, too. This proves that arresting that foreigner was not enough. Either they are going to have to start censoring everything on social media or reform their immigration policy. Muslims are trying to hijacking every country they invade. If government doesn’t put a stop to the lawlessness, a, uneducated in the political realm, boxer is going to run and clean house.
