Trump wanted peace, not out of statesmanship, but because his real priority was last night’s UFC spectacle at the White House. The USA is becoming a clown show, and hallowed ground is being cheapened and turned into a vulgar circus.
My objection is more specific than “this was vulgar” or “this was a circus.” That part is obvious.
The deeper issue is that most presidents, however partisan or outrageous they may have been on the campaign trail, are changed by the office once they enter it. They feel the gravity of where they are and what they now represent. They may still make bad decisions, and we may strongly disagree with them, but there is usually some sense of seriousness, restraint, and historical weight.
Trump seems almost completely untouched by that. The solemnity of the presidency has not tempered his vulgarity. He brought the taste of a casino promoter into the White House, and the office did not elevate him. He dragged the office and the White House down to his level.

It does appear that he isn’t going to stop attacking Lebanon but I still believe he will. We carry a lot of weight with Israel and I just can’t believe he would rather forego peace with Iran to bomb Lebanon.
I don’t know that it’s not already being implemented.

Nobody is occupying Israel. Israel is occupying Palestine. And it is occupying some of the US Republican Party.

He said Iran would surrender unconditionally well that has completely failed. His policy has caused gas prices to go up. He also promised in the election lower grocery prices well that sure did not happen.

Not when grocery prices are predicted to rise.
He promised both things and failed or had the exact opposite happen.
That was also promised before NATO failed to deliver support.
But Iran did not attack a NATO nation.

Biden had warned Russia if they attacked Ukraine they would support Ukraine with all efforts beside military action. Biden kept his promise unlike Obama and his line in the sand and other nations joined in. Slava Ukraine.
