childish mischief, dutch kids acting like kids on dutch land?
Troublemakers.
hmm whats this about? water canons? they are used often in europe by riot police to clear out larger crowds, they are considered to be safer than tear gas
Thatâs not going to hold them back much longer.
them?
Muslims
why do you let those silly posts stimulate your hate for muslims?
It called for wisdom.
It wasnât one conversation, it was half a dozen of them, over decades. Each time, you twisted Paulâs clear words to mean something totally different from what he said. Itâs ok, most Christian women do that, because the alternative is to actually wear head coverings when praying which they donât want to do, so they rewrite the Bible to suit them.
This applies to all inconvenient teachings in the Bible.
Youâre right. There have been many but I covered that particular scripture line by line and you were silent then when you had an opportunity to say something. That was milk. Now we are of full age and in strong meat of the Word. If you couldnât accept that how can you accept Revelation 17?
No, Michele, you tried to weasel out saying her hair is a covering, which would make that entire verse pointless. Do you think the Bible is pointless, Michele?
And beyond that, even if her hair is a covering, that doesnât change the fact that Paul says to keep her HAIR COVERED. Not herself covered. Keep her HAIR COVERED.
You did not cover it, Michele, in any way, literally (your hair) or figuratively (your intellectual dishonesty).
No, Michele, you tried to weasel out saying her hair is a covering, which would make that entire verse pointless. Do you think the Bible is pointless, Michele?
That is a blatant lie and you know it. I never said any such thing. The Scripture was clear about covering hair while praying or prophesying, which is done in Church. Iâve never had to acknowledge that scripture because women in the Baptist Church do not lead men in prayer nor does either women or men prophesy before the Baptist Church, as you well know. Your argument was that my hair should be covered at all times, which is nonsense.
And beyond that, even if her hair is a covering, that doesnât change the fact that Paul says to keep her HAIR COVERED. Not herself covered. Keep her HAIR COVERED.
Again, I never argued any such thing. You took one verse and wrapped an entire lifestyle around. That was a mistake on your part that you are too proud to admit. Thatâs some kind of Muslim tradition you are trying to force into your biblical interpretation of Scripture.
You did not cover it, Michele, in any way, literally (your hair) or figuratively (your intellectual dishonesty).
I donât need to literally cover it, Reg. I am spiritually covered by the Blood of Christ.
No, Michele, you tried to weasel out saying her hair is a covering,
I want to readdress this statement. Although it has been a little time since I last read that Scripture, I do believe it does state somewhere in that chapter that her hair is in fact a covering, which I believe I did bring to your attention 20 years ago, which you refused to acknowledge and still refuse to acknowledge, demonstrating that you pick and choose which Scripture fits your argument while you point out that I do the same, when in fact, I covered the entire chapter, line by line, to crickets.
I donât need to literally cover it, Reg. I am spiritually covered by the Blood of Christ.
lol. Michele, you are so full of shit.
The Bible says to cover your hair when praying. You find that inconvenient so, rather than just covering your hair as the Bible clearly tells you to, you make up these childish excuses.
And then you make up a bunch of other nonsense about what I said years ago, none of which is correct. Iâve never told you to always cover your hair. Iâve told you that the Bible orders you to cover your hair when praying. Not âpraying in a churchâ. Praying.
Itâs ok, though. Hypocrisy is the Christian way.
The Bible says to cover your hair when praying. You find that inconvenient so, rather than just covering your hair as the Bible clearly tells you to, you make up these childish excuses.
It explicitly stated while praying or prophesying. One does not prophesy to oneself, Reg. That instruction was for the purpose of order in the church.
And then you make up a bunch of other nonsense about what I said years ago, none of which is correct.
I agree. Nothing you said was correct.
Iâve never told you to always cover your hair.
I never said you told me to cover my hair. I have repeatedly stated that you asked me if I covered my hair but you never mentioned when.
Iâve told you that the Bible orders you to cover your hair when praying.
And/or prophesying before congregation.
Not âpraying in a churchâ. Praying.
Youâre ignoring prophesying because you know it is in the assembly of the church where prophesying takes place, for edifying of the church.
Praying OR prophesying. OR, Michele. Either one, not necessarily both.
Praying OR prophesying. OR, Michele. Either one, not necessarily both.
It is either, Reg. Paul wasnât instructing people to go into their inner room and pray covered and then into the church and prophecy. There is no Scripture supporting your theory. Paul was instructing the church in Corinth as evidenced in chapter one when he urged them to be of one mind and one purpose.
Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, through the name of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, that you all speak the same thing and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and in the same purpose. - 1 Corinthians 1:10 TLV
More nonsense. The Bible says for Christian women to cover their hair when they pray. Most donât. Then they move heaven and earth torturing and twisting logic to explain why. Exactly like youâre doing. Exactly like youâve been doing for decades.
Do you have Scripture to back up your theory?
