If that is the case, it’s as useless as reiki. That surprises me as it seems like a nerve block can reduce pain in an area that’s it’s not that close to.

My heels have been better lately. Think it’s tight calves from standing so much. Stretching more has helped. I don’t believe it is plantar fasciitis anymore. It’s happened with me barely noticing and almost forgetting. Almost nobody can keep up with my walking pace at work.

Had a housemate Doug Tremblay he swore by his chiropractor.

Maybe that’s all that matters. Even for acupuncture. If the subject thinks it’s working, does anything else matter. At least for pain.

I could see chiropractic adjustments helping. Still looks dangerous to me.

sure, if it makes someone feel better, its their own choice and all good… as long as the treatment doesnt cause harm to themselves or others…
(i remember someone adivsing to drink bleach)

Every pain in the body starts with a pinched off nerve, which can be reversed with an adjustment.

Every pill prescribed starts with a drop of crude oil guaranteed to cause harm with long term use.

Do you remember the medical study attached to the advice?

there are no legitimate medical studies that support any health benefits to drinking bleach, nor are there any sane people that would ever promote such a thing

Trump promoted bleach injections.

Apparently, there is.

“Because you see it gets on the lungs”

Trump promoted studies.

there literally is not:

There was no study created to test the “bleach theory” of injecting or ingesting disinfectant. Rather, the comments made by President Donald Trump on April 23, 2020, were based on a misunderstanding of research conducted by the

U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate.

  • The Actual Research: William Bryan, acting head of the DHS Science and Technology Directorate, presented findings showing that bleach and isopropyl alcohol could kill the COVID-19 virus on surfaces (like countertops) and in saliva or respiratory fluids in a lab setting within minutes.
  • The Misinterpretation: During the briefing, Trump suggested that since disinfectants kill the virus on surfaces, researchers should look into “injection inside or almost a cleaning” to treat the lungs.
  • The Fallout: Health experts immediately warned that injecting or ingesting bleach is toxic, causes severe health problems, and can be fatal. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and major manufacturers (e.g., Lysol/Dettol) warned against the ingestion of disinfectants.

Note: While not directly created for this, a subsequent study published in PMC (2023) investigated the “problematic-respondent bias” in CDC reports that saw a spike in poison control calls regarding dangerous cleaning practices following this period.

by sharing his foolish assumption he encouraged many people (including kids) to poison themselves

That is their dumb fault.

Fact is he talked of using bleach injections to kill Wuhan. He appointed an anti vaxxer to be in charge of health .

Do you have a reliable source for your claim or do you just make it up as you go?

Do you have a point?

How so?

the kids? i think its the fault of their parents and your president (and you for spreading such nonsense)

Perhaps you should look inward before you accuse others of “spreading nonsense”.

good advice, specially when it can harm kids!
