France did and left America has been on that island and left a bad taste in the mouths of locals with lots of killings. Voodoo is bad and evil and voodoo is strongest in Haiti. Trudeau said he would get Canada involved and wisely decided not to.
Haitians have no taste.
Haiti is a basket case. I will no longer donate to them. I did after the earthquake and all that money was stolen. Some nation, possibly China, needs to just invade them and take over completely. They are unable to govern themselves.

China stay out of the Western Hemisphere. There are plenty of poor countries one can help and the poor of the DTES could use help or for that matter Whalley.
