so you didn’t think ANYTHING cuz my moma is fat
ok
Oh, he’s butthurt cause his momma fat.
No, he’s butthurt that Michele can edit topic titles and he can’t, and that I don’t care. And that I locked him down to trust level 0 (which I didn’t even know existed) when he spammed.
His recent “cuz my moma is fat” in a few threads is intended to suggest we have no legitimate quarrel with him and are resorting to ad hominem attacks which, as far as I can recall, nobody has.
Well, in fairness, i did threaten to piss on his mommas grave, but hey, what’s the problem?
Fair point. None of us are saints. Anyway, I unlocked him within 24 hours.

India is now moving against Google. Interesting. Trump may be remembered as the president that destroyed Google.
Google’s trial starts today and is going to last at least 2 months, which seems like a long time to me but it seems there is a lot more to cover besides which search engine you use to find the cheapest earbuds. It is the biggest antitrust trial in 2 decades and The Department of Justice has accused the tech giant of violating antitrust laws by allegedly abusing its dominance in search and search advertising to suppress competition.
The case parallels a 2001 antitrust suit against Microsoft when the maker of the Windows operating system was accused of pressuring computer manufacturers to preload Internet Explorer.
The NYT Daily did an excellent podcast covering what this suit is all about.
PBS explains it pretty well, too.
So in order to illegally influence the election, all Google has to do is make sure that voters always receive negative information on one candidate while providing positive information and even suppressing negative information on their chosen candidate.
Good. I don’t even care if it’s right. Google has too much power.
More trouble for Google. A judge ruled Google violated antitrust laws and has been running an illegal monopoly on their search engine. They are appealing.

Google just acquired Wiz for $32 billion it says to boost its lagging cloud business but I think they are lying.

I use Google search every day. But if you Google search something it sometimes does not show something on the WWW but will 6 months later.
