With Canada out I will mostly stop following this event, but I do hate the Dutch so I will cheer against them if they proceed any further. I’ll depend on Nico’s posts to find out though, since I don’t care enough to subscribe to any feeds on the tournament.
England just beat Nigeria on penalties. Almost all the analysts are saying Nigeria deserved to win. England is the only team I hate more than the Dutch so this is unfortunate. Hopefully the Brits will play the Nederlanders and somehow both teams will lose.
The strongest looking team is Australia. They beat the Dansk today easily.
I continue to not care enough to watch the games but I enjoy watching the highlights.
Colombia is on at 1 am your time tonight. They play Jamaica, lol.

it would be very nice if we could forget about spain, england and france lol unfortunately one of them should win the tourney now usa and germany are gone lol (unless justice prevails and the dutch win lol)
yes england was lucky to win on penalties but basically the coach of england (she is dutch) saved them from disaster after that silly british girl got sent off for standing on her opponent lol; she made some tactical changes and nigeria hardly even got a chance with their 11 vs 10
lol while the aussies did really well, the aussie crowd was cheering like crazy and their team gave it their all (especially the girl that scored the first goal was very impressive), it would be more than a miracle if they won this tourney

Bob Menery has a great voice for hockey.
Are you referring to the sound of his voice or the his branch of vocabulary, which I think you mean lol, but it is hockey, where men are gathered to praise violence against each other. I, personally, thought it was funny and quite entertaining but that’s just me and I’m used to hearing that kind of language because of the oilfield. In fact, I think it should be declared a second language in America.
He can really alter his voice depending on the sport.

Spain!!! Actually I don’t care about Spain at all. I’m just happy the UK lost. Cheering against England is my favourite futbol pastime.

The Dutch did perfectly. They won some games and then crashed out with nothing to show for their efforts aside from their heartbroken oranje fans.
