I saw this detail and wonder if the conspiracy nuts will latch on to it. “Covid vaccine killed Hank Aaron” and so on.
Aaron made his last public appearance just two-and-a-half weeks ago, when he received the COVID-19 vaccine. He said he wanted to help spread word to Black Americans that the vaccine was safe.
There was a lot to like about him.
I googled. Seems Barry Bonds broke his record. I don’t remember much about Bonds other than most people thought he was on roids. I don’t care. Not interested in baseball.
Bonds was an arrogant asshole that hated the media and his teammates. He had a combination of wanting people to kiss his ass and be left alone. Pretty much the opposite of Aaron.
Looks like they are going to let 22000 people go to the superbowl. Including 7500 vaccinated healthcare workers. I wouldn’t go for free. Even if it was 10 minutes away and I had a free ticket.

Speaking of assholes, Connor McGregor just got destroyed by an American, Dustin Poirier. Nobody (including me) thought Poirier had a chance. Well, nobody except Poirier. I can’t think of a bigger asshole in sport than Connor McGregor. I enjoyed watching him fall.

With McGregor and Trump, rape seems to be ok with the public. Now do note, I am personally in favour of the “innocent until proven guilty” approach to these cases. I just also want equal justice for all. Right now, if you’re me or any of you or 99% of the population, the accusation is enough to end your life as you know it. If you’re Trump or McGregor, it doesn’t even really slow down your career.
