all women’s books in here.
There is a few of those things here in Hope. The one in Newton on 137St they had to remove vandalism and racist tracts put inside. I put some books in it.
A good indication women are heavier readers in your state.
A few months ago we had 70 mph winds. Half the door to the library ripped off. We also had 2 feet of snow on the ground, so nobody was really using it. Due to it being January, I took all the books out. Somehow, only about 5 were wet. I put a tarp over it and drilled it into the post behind it.
We now have no snow and I’m planning on replacing the door, which won’t be easy. Someone took the tarp off and put new books in there. They actually brought a screwdriver, took the screw out, I guess took the tarp with them and stuck 20 bucks in there. I guess they don’t care if they get wet.
What an odd thing to do.
I made a new library. It’s supposed to match my house. I was only off by 17 shades of gray. Much better door.
Love the pink.
Cool. Like the ones in Hope, Duncan. The one in Newton 137st had to be removed from repeated vandalism and ppl placing hate literature in it. 2 15 yr olds in another Lower Mainland town were arrested for repeatedly torching the free library there.
