That was the Reichsbürger group, and yes they should be banned. This weird Kingdom of Germany group is nutty but didn’t have anything to do with that planned overthrow. They are part of the same “scene” according to the article, which isn’t a crime to me.
I honestly didn’t mind to read up on that silly Kingdom group yet. All I can say is, that there is another old group and legal political party advocating for getting back monarchy (no idea in which form), if also only for Bavaria, lol. I also didn‘t inform me about them, as I don‘t want a monarchy back, but consider them as totally harmless. More than a joke. But where is the red line? To me it was crossed when Muslims demonstrated for implementing Sharia and the Caliphate in Germany. I consider those people dangerous for democracy. But that’s because I consider conservative Islam per se as extremist in its core with its interpretation of Islam not compatible with democracy and the basic human rights. Those people engaging in advocating for the Caliphate and Sharia, I don‘t want to have here - at least not being able to start a political party.
PS: My bad, either that bavarian party is gone or I wrongly assumed they want the monarchy for Bavaria back. But no, they „only“ want to become an independent state like Austria and Switzerland and leave Germany.
I am not convinced we shouldn’t just ban Islam in the western world. When you were here in Surrey, there were almost no Muslims here. Now they are everywhere. It is not an improvement. We watch women in 30°C heat wearing full black niqabs with little eye-slits walking 6 paces behind their husbands who are wearing shorts. It’s sick. Whether we go to the extreme of banning Islam or not, the current system is not in the interests of Canadians.

Ok, I just read up about some guy who is actively in that party - and he definitely is also for installing the monarchy again. And his reasoning for it is, that it has more charme and people wouldn’t have to look at England, Holland or Denmark etc. for the Royal athmosphere. That sounds rather for a representative instead of an absolute monarchy. Funny thing is, he is actually from Hamburg and moved decades ago to Augsburg, Bavaria, lol. That group is harmless and absolutely peaceful.
More correct would be „Königreich Bayern“. Currently we are „Freistaat Bayern“.
If I was King, I would ban Islam, as long as they consider Mo as a role model without reforming his teachings. In that case, the now closed Mosque in Berlin due to Muslim death threats would be the only one legal.

I live in another continent. Rape crimes recorded by security cameras should not be censored by media. Rape should be a death penalty crime.
I agree with the death penalty (or rather with a sentence behind bars for good). Any rape victim got a life sentence as well. Just fair to punish the rapist with an equally long and adequate sentence. Plus, no further rape victim.

The guy who killed the female RCMP officer in Burnaby in a public park his life fell apart after a false accusation of sexual assault. Once an award winning film maker he had been homeless for years and unemployed more than that as his mental health fell apart. The charges against him were dropped but he continued to fall apart.
