I would ban all parades including the sodomy parade and I don’t feel this is a free speech thing at all. Free speech has nothing to do with shutting down streets. Go speak. Go to a park and tell all the passers by what you believe. Or post on the net as I said. Why must you shut down my city to celebrate sodomy or football or St. Patrick or whatever other silly thing you want to celebrate?

It’s not your city. You don’t have a patent on the streets. What makes verbal speech okay but self-expression wrong besides your penchant for words? It’s not like you hang out on Main Street where your life would be disrupted.

I don’t know about your city but in mine, the perversion parade pretty much shuts down the entire downtown core. The equally silly Irish parade takes up slightly less space but it’s still impossible to navigate the city when it’s on. We haven’t had the football parade for awhile so I’m not sure about that one. As far as I’m concerned they could shut down the stupid football team.
