sandwiches. I know they say a lot of bad things about them…but you can really make an advancement in nutrition. Just keep a good mind and think back to the sandwiches you ate as a child and the small carton of milk and juice and even the small bag of chips.
Get yourself a lunch box and just bike ride and have the sandwich, chips, milk or juice. Renew your mind and brain chemistry. Foundational thinking.
You can make it healthy, don’t be powerless. Just one a day or 3 a day and limit other foods. Start small and keep changing up. Peanut butter and jelly (even sugar free), ham and cheese with salsa, turkey with mayo, mustard , lettuce and tomato.
Move up to 6 inch long and considerable width bread. You can even scrape it out and leave more room for meat or even vegetarian with cheese. Or an super thick fried tomato slice. Ratatouille.
When your bored just let them go like feeding fish along a river as you bike along.
You can even do ice cream and with syrup whip cream. There is plenty of sugar free.
Beat the meltdown and core temp.
Eventually work on that insulin sensitivity. I found the secret, it’s fat and how just fat alone can make you diabetic. But some people eat a ton of sugar with a normal A1C.
Something just doesn’t add up.

We’ll eat a salad before we go, and we will stop for tea in the city square halfway through our ride. That’s plenty. Our joy will come from the ride, the sunny but cool day, the fresh clean air, the feeling of being outdoors doing exercise, and from the vibrant, clean, safe, and remarkably beautiful city we live in. Not from whatever we put in our mouths.
Try scraping your tongue and cutting back the alcohol and finally beating covid.

I barely drink, Mark. Perhaps 3 or 4 drinks per year. Erika drinks even less. And I haven’t had Covid for years and suffer no long term effects from it. Technically, I don’t know if I’ve ever had Covid as I’ve never tested positive for it, but I assume I got it at some point.
You really should try to find joy the way we do (below). Your life would improve drastically.

I’m headed out for errands and the gym. Don’t waste your buttocks on that bike. I build glutes and legs with cycling. You don’t. Try the sandwiches.
I don’t eat pork, but I just had a salad with turkey slices and a small amount of dressing, and a couple of granola bars. It was great. That’s all I have eaten today. It’s perfect. I may hit 72 kilos if I keep doing this, which isn’t a bad thing as I still have a small belly at 79 kilos.

I made this sauce myself from 2 tomatoes , paste, garlic and some jellied cranberry. It’s a meat sauce but shredded chicken leftovers with tomato. That’s shredded down to the individual fiber and it has a weird feel going down with the spaghetti. That chunk of white is whole milk fresh cheese.
It’s a level up I can get with other things and different places.
