In 2004 we reelected a man who started a war based on lies. That says something about the people that live in the country, not just their government.
In this case the tariffs have not helped anyone. Instead of working to better both sides, practically everyone outside of about 2% of the population is looked at as an enemy. 40% of the country is ok with that. 40% of the country is ok with murdering Persians. 40% are ok with having a pedophile as a president. This is 4 times in the last 26 years that we have elected a moron. That says something about us. So, I can see why someone will never trust us again.
I am definitely not boycotting forever. If Talarico gets elected, I will make a point of supporting the USA. I’ll make a point of visiting and spending money there. I’ll make a point of posting admiring things about his reforms.
But I will vote for the party in Canada that supports disentangling our affairs from the Americans. Why? Because after Talarico is elected by the two coasts, and after he gets reelected and implements Talaricocare and Social Security reforms and taxes on billionaires and makes the rich pay their fair share, and resumes evidence-based medicine, the low-IQ inbreds in the middle of the country will vote right wing. They will vote for the new Trump, the new Bush, whichever new imbecile comes along screaming “socialism booga booga booga,” and they’ll tear everything back down again.
I am not anti-American. I am pro-Canadian. And we can’t trust the USA. I am absolutely in favour of Canada disconnecting from the US permanently. Not totally. We should still trade and cooperate, but never again get as close as we once were.

Watching CTV World Cup hope Alphonso Davies plays for the rouge and red . We play an African team South Africa. My driving instructor for Young Drivers Of Canada was a White immigrant from South Africa. The stadium 8 levels is quite impressive. Just saw a group of CDN fans walking to the stadium with flags and logos . Someone here in Langley has a Canada flag and Team Canada flag on his porch. Be awesome if Canada won the tournament. Mayor Ken Sim could use some good news.
I didn’t watch it. I won’t watch any german game, as long as an islamist is in our ranks. And I applaud every match loss.
But as my morning routine includes watching SAT1 Fruehstuecksfernsehen while having breakfast, I always enjoy that little WC update. Today was a feast, Germany AND Holland lost in the unpronouncable first k.o. round, lol. Hopefully, this was Ruedigers last match for my country. May he migrate to the UAE and take everyone with him, who doesn’t identify as German.
I still like them, even though I’m not a fan of Islam. I had hoped they’d win today, even though I almost always cheer for Sudamérica over Europe. I think Amiri is also Muslim but I’m not sure. Oh well, I hope Germany will win again one day.
Amiri is no Islamist as far as I know. I don’t know if he is a conservative Mo-apolegetic though, which wouldn’t qualify him for the German team either in my opinion.

Canada now plays Morocco. We are likely to lose but I will hope. I don’t think we have any Muslims but I’m not sure.
Canada, France, Norway, Mexico. I used to root against Mexico. They’ve been dominant, but I’m not sure if they’ve played anybody good. I have finally stopped rooting against Argentina. All the nazis are dead.
