Favourite Religious Songs and Music

lmao, praise it brother!

Judas Priest Screaming For Vengance or any Foreigner rocker hit from that era Hot Blooded,

Nico and I have been mocking each other for our taste in music for many years, Greg. Hope you had a nice Christmas.

Some pretty versions of the same song. I put my favourite earbuds in and am rocking this song again tonight. I don’t share all their beliefs, and there are many exceptions, but generally speaking I love Christians.

Bloody hell. It’s weekend and I could sleep a little longer.

lol. Even Michele doesn’t like my Christian song.

I binged on religious music and will now post. Sorry, Nico, “Party All the Time” by Eddie Murphy didn’t make the cut.

The Lord’s Prayer in Swahili. An amazing version.

Sudamérica is more joyful than Canada.

Even their solemn songs are joyful.

From the Old Norse religion.

The Lord’s Prayer in Aramaic.

Some Romanian girl. She’s not famous but she’s great. Much better than most famous people.

“Bine-ai venit, Mñntuitorul meu” (translated as “Welcome, My Savior”) is a Romanian Christmas carol composed by Ludovic Arman. The song celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ and expresses the joy and gratitude of believers for the arrival of the Savior on Earth.

I left this comment.

Not so. I thought they were very pretty songs. Loved them. I usually listen for the best first with all music but the words in religious songs tend to evoke a sense of gratefulness because I know my blessings are from an outside source.

Don’t do Christmas but Hannukah started the same day.

Why don’t you do Christmas, Greg?

I bet Christian atheistic Jews don’t celebrate Christmas. They may be religiously against religion.

Greg is not a Jew. Last time we talked about this (which is many years ago), he was a fundamentalist Christian.

real christians dont celebrate xmas, because it has nothing to do with a christ

If Christians want to pretend Solstice/Christmas is the day Christ was born, it harms nobody.

if by nobody you mean themselves and everyone else then yes, just ask all ancestors of the people they killed trying to enforce that thought

No, I mean it harms nobody. We all walk through life with our fantasies. Michele’s include a sky fairy and his son who died for our sins. Yours include suicidal people being cowards and unlimited free speech being desirable. Mine include health care being a human right, AI being our salvation and destruction, and amateur radio being useful. These fantasies harm nobody.

Some people take their fantasies to extremes in a destructive way, but you and I are unlikely to harm anyone with our fantasies.

what is harm to one
you try to harm my ears every time you post your “music” !

Go on, Nico. Post “Party All The Time” by Eddie Murphy. You know you want to.

Russia celebrates Christmas on January 7th.
