Ah, found this wonderful flick which portrays their complicated relationship so well in a nut shell.

Luci getting distracted by hot angel models working for a pudding commercial, lol.

I love that scene at the end with his improvisation and her impulsive laugh because of it, lol.

From Reddit:

“I thought since I’d likely never penetrate you, I’d commemorate the one time you penetrated me.”

It was a total ad lib by Mr. Ellis, their laughter was completely spontaneous and genuine and delightful. The director never said “cut” so they finished the scene and kept it in the final edit.

This scene is boring for everyone but me. I love it very much. I remember there was a scene before, where Luci behaved childish (but funny), to which serious Chloe’s usual reaction would have been a disapproving eye role. But not this time. She looked at him in total peace. Centered. Satisfied. Maybe even with a light smile. She wasn‘t unsure anymore and knew, that she wants to be with him. That‘s my favourite Chloe scene. I can‘t find that scene and posting it wouldn‘t be of use anyway, as none here would have been able to realize that difference. But I found the next scene, which shows the consequence of that moment. I love how Luci was looking at her.

I like Lauren German, but I only liked her character Chloe in season 1. I don‘t know why the showrunners painted her one-dimensional and grey from that on. Till that moment in season 5.

I already assumed that Tricia Helfer might be an introvert too, due to her having a few cats and prefering to live in the countryside, again with even more pets. But only now while watching an interview in which she said this about herself, I know for sure. What‘s funny is, that she even feared to work with little whirlwind Aimee Garcia, because she thought to be not able to cope with Garcias veeeery talkative and energy-ladden nature, which unfortunately pulls the energy out from introverts who have to deal with such extreme extroverts, lol. So Helfer asked Tom Ellis before shooting for some advice how to deal with Garcia just in case it‘s too much for her to handle, lol.

What‘s also funny is that in the scenes she had with Garcia, Helfer played a very intimidating character, for that It was Garcia who tried to avoid her, lol. Not much talking (at least in those scenes shot), lol.

Short coffee break. Watched „Rush“ with Tom Ellis finally last night. Well, 5 episodes. From the few flicks which are available on YouTube I knew it was a great show and that he is hot in it. After 5 episodes I can confirm these quick impressions of mine. The music choices pretty suck compared to Lucifer. Didn‘t match well with the content. Lucifer’s showrunners we’re excellent in implementing that element.

Anyway, Tom Ellis never looked better than in Rush. Great story too (drug addicted brilliant doctor with daddy issues who even slept in a weak moment both had, with his younger stepmom), which is perfect for plenty of drama to unfold.

BUT. As kitschy Lucifer is in those romantic scenes, which are hard to even to look at without getting diabetes (contrary to those scenes in Rush, which weren’t romantic yet at all, lol - yelp ;), as much I understand why Lucifer won that huge fan base from children till grandmas: Fantastic humour and incredible charme. Even some sort of innocence regarding his relationship with Chloe. This is why I prefer Lucifer over Rush. And believe me, I love Rush, lol. But Lucifer is simply fun, fun, fun.

Lauren German. Feels so insecure at dancing, that this musical episode rather was terror for her to shoot. She never did any singing part in the whole series and also the dancing was as minimized as the showrunners could manage, lol.

I love this musical episode, where God makes Lucifer (and as a consequence everyone else) sing and when the rhythm fits, also to dance. These dancing scenes were thoroughly choreographed - but Lauren German is Lauren German, lol. She improvised this uhm, position, at 0:33, and the reaction by Ellis was so helpless, he forgot even to laugh, lol. He did in the aftermath in an interview, where Lauren told about it.

@Reggie: Thank you.

As already said, I love that whole musical episode. Even the training looks as it is really fun. I love dancing (but suck at it, lol). But this I really would love to do. In this interview you can sense the joy isn’t just played. And at the very end Chloe says something about her improvisation, which makes Tom Ellis laugh even a bit ashamed, lol.

As I had time till this posting block was lifted, I watched a few more clips from this episode. The other element which makes this one so hilariously funny is the arriving of God on earth and his journey to experience human basic stuff for the first time, similar as Luci did.

I swear I will never get tired of the humour in Lucifer. I love this scene where God made himself human and wants to accompany his son and Chloe doing their job. Shortly before, he exploded Detective Dan (Chloe’s ex) who didn‘t know he slept with Gods wife which inhabited the body of Charlotte Richards at that time. Wrath took over God, lol. But he at least put him together again. So, after Luci scolded him and asked him to leave, as he and his divine power endangers the ones who he cares for, God decides to become human to experience, why Luci evolved in such a short time on earth.

That moment with him closing his eyes…

The actor playing God is doing a fantastic job. I want to hate him for various reasons, but I can‘t, lol.

This is Detective Dan dancing, knowing he will go to Hell. He just realized in a chat with Lucis brother Amenadiel at the bar in LUX, that he had slept with Gods wife. That bar scene is so hilarious, but couldn‘t find it yet. The dance is great too, though.

Here is that bar scene.

Luci lost his wings after having been banned to Hell in exchange for his Devil face. Shortly after he met Chloe, the Devil face vanished and his lightbright white wings were back on. So he thought his Dad was doing a prank on him, cut off his newly grown wings and stored them in a container which was stolen (orchestrated by his brother, who at that point in season 1 was a fierce opponent of Luci and wanted to pressure him back to Hell by this move).

In this scene, Luci found the thief and his wings - only to realize after he got them back again, that they don‘t mean as much to him as his brother wanted to make him believe.

I found the scene where the original quote was said by the thief, who sells religious „artefacts“ to any adherent of any faith.

God, how I love that scene. A pity, that Bond lost it‘s best actor ever, though. He would have been perfect back then. But only back then.

What a wonderful show that was. It had soul. Even more so than Lucifer, and I love Lucifer.

I promise to never stop galopping. Never. Ever. Sleeping doesn’t count,

Rex. A pure black little Welsh stallion of a neighbour on which I was allowed to ride with a bridle but bareback and lead by the owner. But somehow Rex went through with me on his back and he went toward his stable back home on full gallop. Iwas maybe 10 years old. No clue how to ride. Frightened to fall down and break my bones at first. But eventually becoming sincere, that he won’t try to get rid of me and just galloping as fast as he could to get home again. Back to „his“ studs, which were all Huge Trakehner, lol. From that on, I had the best riding experience ever. I felt free. Flying. Despite having zero nfluence on him. He even jumped over a small creek. From that on, I knew I was safe despite without having any control - and I enjoyed that fast ride upward the hill to his home. Thank you Rex. May you Rest In Peace and gallop as offen as you want.

I stopped making picture albums ages ago. But I remember a certain picture of me and Rex, tha welsh pony stallion. I should still have it. Will have a look into those old albums. If Infind it, Inwill make a foto from that foto and post it. I remember having had a green jacket on and a pony tail, lol. Oh my. I also remember when riding him bareback and without a bridle on his meadow, that he intentionally walked under the small apple trees, to get rid of me, lol. He was kind. He didn‘t kick or jump. Just walked under those apple trees and I even enjoyed tomplay with him by sliding down eventually, lol.

Kelly Reno was really impressive. Sonyoung and yet really, really brave and a good rider for that young age. A natural talent.

I don‘t get why people do free climbing or drive fast motorcycles and cars. But I understand why riding fast is beautiful. You are one with a living being, who literally gives you a hell of a ride. No cold steel or Aluminium. A living, warm, creature with its own brain, Will and soul. Nothing can compare to riding a horse as fast as it wants to go. I get goosebumps alone by that sound.

Exactly. What the video poster says in the beginning. Those are the minutes you need to watch from that movie. This is beauty. The rest is ugh. If this is paradise, I want to be a believer. If not, it‘s not worth it.
