This episode was very funny, as Luci went undercover with Chloe’s boss (who actually is Kane from the Bible) as a gay couple. I heard in an interview today, that they both got along each other very well, but that the actor Tom Welling is very uncomfortable with playing a gay man. So Tom Ellis used this for fun by grabbing his hand, being touchy and demanding repeated rehearsal of touchy scenes, lol. After the first kissing scene he whispered into Tom Welling´s ear „sorry about my errection“, lol. What a funny guy. According to Ellis, the awkward mimics by Welling are all genuine, lol.
Luci coming back after they had a little dispute over the right place for the Nachos on the table, lol. And kiss. Well, Luci does.
Very nice interview with both. At the end there is an outtake of one of those kisses which didn‘t make it into the series. But you can see the fun by Ellis. Usually I can‘t watch two men (same with women) kissing. But this here is just a joy, lol. Probably because you know it‘s not serious. I so can relate with Welling here.
On a different note regarding homosexuality. I wonder if the actress of Chloe (Lauren German) is even bisexual or not even solely lesbian (which I assume). I read and heard a lot about their very close bond on set, while he already was together with his now wife before even the pilot was filmed. Cause otherwise I can’t imagine how this could work out so well as it obviously did.
Just like with Maze, I didn‘t get warm (pun intended) with Chloe. According to Ellis, the actress is pretty diametral to her tv character and very funny. And she has a very nice looking German/Belgian Shepard-like dog (mixed breed I guess).
Her dog Pepper is visually 200% my dog type. But I never will own such a beauty. What I read it‘s no mix but a Belgian Shepherd (Malinious), as they need a rigorous active training 24/7/365. Maybe I have luck to own a German Shepherd eventually, after Jamie dies. But also this is rather unlikely. I never would want one from a breeder, but only from the many dog rescue organizations, preferably mine of course. They barely ever have puppets of pure bred German Shepherd. Being alone, I need to guarantee that dog is as save as possible, otherwise I have problems to find some dog sitter for when I am at the office all day.
If it‘s true that she engages in dog rescue, then I wish all the power to her.
Not that I ever heard of it. It‘s a famous painting, yes. But I don‘t know anyone who is proud about that this kiss occurred. Exactly the opposite. But maybe the East Germans see this differently. I would be very surprised, though.

Nothing was addressed at your opposing opinion on that matter, nor did I try to make a general statement. I just wondered (and assumed), the actress can‘t be heterosexual and have such a close platonic relationship with him, without at least some rupture, to say the least. It makes totally sense now, knowing she is a lesbian. That‘s all.

Oh that, well, lol. I don‘t know why. I only can assume this has to do with the fun and the not serious (not realistic) atmosphere and setting on that Lucifer show plus Ellis playing an inherently good character.
What I definitely can‘t do is watching him playing a bad character, as he does on Tell Me Lies. Watching those (heterosexual) scenes made me literally sick. So I am not watching it anymore. But I am trying to read up about that particular storyline, as I am too curious. No watching, though.
