Poor writing in snowpiercer this year. They are wasting a good cast, story and cinematography. Almost nothing has happened so far, except 1 minor character was murdered and I’m 6 episodes in. They are hoping africa will be warming up enough to test the snow and searching for their head engineer that is outside the train and nothing has happened for either. They did find a woman that lived outside the train for 7 years and rescued her.

Will Smith‘ justified slap of Chris Rock at the Oscars reminded me of an old but great tv series I forgot about: Burn Notice. with the fabulous bad ass with a great heart Jeffrey Donovan and the funny and loyal Bruce Campbell at his side. Perfect mix of action, drama as well as fun. Well, this flick here isn’t‘ fun, but just as justified. Sometimes it‘s simply right to use violence.

Insulting/mockery is as hurting as a slap in one’s face. That’s why I view Smith’ reaction indeed only as a justified response in defending his wife. And I also guess you have a hard time telling the Ukrainians to stop shooting back at the Russians.
