I liked the movie. Might be Natalie Portman’s best.
I’ve watched 2 episodes. The first 20 minutes were quite slow, but better after that.
Aliens send a DNA sequence to earth. Scientists are able to make a virus out of it which turns humans into a hive. A bunch of people die in the assimilation. Everyone else joins the hive, minus 12 people who somehow still have free will. The other remaining 7 billion hive humans all know the exact same things and live in harmony. I thought it was going to be a horror show, but it’s a comedy. The main character is terrific, even if not a nice person.
An old storyline. Invasion of the Body Snatchers in the 70s. Robert A. Heinlein’s Puppet Masters in the 50s.
Will see where it goes.
I like your show’s trailer. I probably won’t watch because I am so predisposed against movies but it looks interesting. It seems the holdouts in that show aren’t hiding. In Invasion of the Body Snatchers they were hiding from the alien body snatchers. This was the famous ending. I found it quite disturbing as a child. Doesn’t move me much now.

pluribus! yes its weird and very slow but if you enjoy psychological drama with a scifi twist, or just want something different to watch with good acting and zero special effects then its one of the best shows of last year

This old BBC show probably didn’t make it to the USA, but I loved it ss a child/kid. I still do, lol. Found them on YouTube. Not sure if all episodes are uploaded there, but I found the German versions from season 1 at least. The originals are there too, but the audio quality is pretty bad - at least for my ears. I prefer the German dubbed version.

P..S.: There exists a newer series with the same title and characters, but that is pretty bad. The old original series is the only one for me.

Never seen that series, but it looks very promising from the few flicks I watched this morning. I just thought she died from an arrow. Must have been later in that series.
its one of the yellowstone spinoffs, you should watch that first!

yup, great acting… for me it went on a bit too long though they probably shouldve stopped after 2 or 3 seasons

I am finding the last season of stranger things so awful, i won’t be finishing it.
yup it was no where as good as first series but didnt think it was that bad to miss out on the end of the series lol
Lol. I know. Maybe I’ll finish it eventually. I’m also sick, so that’s probably not helping, but I’ve liked other things.
