Elon Musk Madness

That should be okay, Reg. Canada tariffs America at every turn on every product. How is it that Canada putts tariffs on American products that America has to pay and then Trump reciprocates those tariffs and America still has to pay? If you don’t think it’s like that we can ask Dan. He has posted repeatedly that America pays all tariffs put on Chinese products.

This is a simple lie. We have a free trade agreement. We impose tariffs on almost nothing from the US.

You can’t possibly be this dense. We impose tariffs on almost nothing from the US. The Cheeto is threatening to impose tariffs on our products in direct violation of our agreement. If he does that, we will reciprocate. Trump isn’t reciprocating on anything.

That’s because Dan understands who pays for tariffs. You don’t. Ben doesn’t. Trump doesn’t. The US consumer will pay for your tariffs, Michele. Nobody else.

Then I wonder what Rubio meant.

You can’t possibly be more insulting, but I bet you’d like to.

Repetition.

That’s right. I read today it was over border crossing and drugs.

I understand your view has gained you an empty heart. Congratulations.

I wonder if it would be a net positive to make vandalizing Cybertrucks legal.

Why vandalize Cybertrucks when you can burn the source for its energy?

Because it’s art.

Yes I saw that on the tv news. Minor vandalism of the Tesla chargers in Hope BC near Water Ave. Saw a guy with 2 obnoxious children get their White Tesla tagged with them in it in Chilliwack recently. Remember not all Tesla owners are the enemy.

RT706K White man lying sack of crud seems to know every drug dealer in town has a Tesla.

Boycott Tesla.

I am so happy to see this. I honestly don’t understand why Tesla shareholders aren’t revolting. Well, they are revolting (adj) but not revolting (verb).

They haven’t had to buy a battery yet.

Back when I was doing Airbnb, a customer of middle eastern descent let me drive his Tesla rental around the block. Looking back, I probably could have driven further but I was terrified that I would have a wreck and have to pay for it. I drive it far enough to know it was like driving any other car, gas or electric. Anyway, I bet he was revolted considering he probably owned a Bentley.

I have been offered twice to drive a tesla. I have also declined. Looks like a lot of blind spots.

I’ve driven in several, but never drove one myself. They seem ok. For me, it’s all about Elon. I will not support him. When he was a super focused businessman trying to get to Mars, I liked him. Now that he has made his life’s work all about taking medical care and benefits away from vulnerable people, I hate him.

I drove a few. The sedans feel heavy. They have that strange hum. They don’t slowly creep forward when you take your foot off the accelerator pedal and almost instantly stop without coasting. At low speeds it’s practically a dead stop and I don’t know if this can be adjusted. It feels very stable but if you are inching to park towards a concrete wall it’s not the best conditions.

That was exactly my experience, although I was only in the passenger seat. Heavy. Weird hum, like a quiet vacuum cleaner. I haven’t experienced the regen braking but I like the idea of using the slowdown when you life the throttle to regenerate the batteries.

I don’t understand why the roofs aren’t solar. It won’t make a huge difference but surely it would make a small difference.

Install it yourself. It is not new technology.

Blindspots shouldn’t be a problem in a self driving car.

He hasn’t taken anything away from anyone and I wish you would quit saying that until you have proof that he’s taking something.

I didn’t remember hearing a humming sound but maybe the batteries are loose. Some vehicles have them bolted in.

Probably not in an electric vehicle when autopilot is on.

No it definitely was an electric vehicle. Most have some type of electronics in them although some older engines have no electrical monitoring or adjusting. The only electricity is for the spark plugs.

Never used autopilot.

Huh?
