The older I get the less patience have. technology is anathema to me now. The last 3 days have been password hell. I lose them and try to recover but I go down the rabbit hole. not loving life.
a part for my truck sat in kansas for four days without moving. Now it sits in Georgia for the forth day without moving,. No one knows anything.
my HF radio (ts530-s) has been in Rhode Island for a month now being repaired. I suspect it is sitting. Nothing works right anymore.
Unpleasant. It’s made worse by the fact that tech isn’t made to be repaired anymore. Everything is disposable. Nice radio btw.

your right. and it is a nice radio. first I had. bought it from an old guy, in a trailer with a beam. But a great radio and worth saving. I worked Azerbaijan from florida on that rig. no menus. 1980’s radio. my style. wish it was here working. bought a new antenna. tw antenna, formerly transworld, bought out dx engineering and the price shot up. I wrote a scathing email and tried to shame them. they’re probably passing around as laugh of the day as the CEO books a med cruise. But I ramble . . . miss my radio

I should say it’s a wire cut for 40 meters. Plan is one end high in the tree the other low as in a sloper anenna. but yeah. should work.
