Curfew

If 24-year cellar curfew isn’t creepy, what is?

Yeah, that’s kinda what I was saying.

Some “Fritzl-extreme-curfew” question remain. For instance over a 30 years time period (24 years imprisonment + 6 years construction), some heavy household equipment is likely to break beyond repair. How to replace a European-style laundry machine or a huge freezer through a 1 square meter security door?

God you obsess over the weirdest things. This time over some Austrian lunatic. If you are fantasizing about emulating this pig, I hope you seek mental help.

Reg, Fritzl has been

  • very controlling, a control-freak
  • very dominant and integer
  • very cold blooded
    and first and foremost
  • very orderly and organized

I am more or less the opposite in each aspect, especially as I am a messy, chaotic organization desaster with constant loss of control managing to survive from month to month. I am in need for a strong leader to be his “number two” bitch.

Being that way, of course I admire You and Josef for their orderly and clean living space, controlling their turf, planing everything ahead, for their public appearance of integrity as opposed to a fringe freak etc. in a “now, how did he do that?” in some way, like a lemming admires a pop star like Michael Jackson. He normally doesn’t want to be him, nor even could he, but still he thinks “that guy can do a good show” or “how did he do that?”

Also I have much interest in WW I and II bunkers and cellars and underground buildings in general.

Well, while I don’t share your admiration for this pig, it’s good to know you don’t seek to emulate him.

You should try to find joy in pocket knives like I do. It’s still slightly war-like but is far less weird.

Glad we agree on this one.
Btw. if anybody reading this is into Fritzl, cellars, bunkers, underground construction, I suggest to visit Verdun, France, as long as it hasn’t deteriorated yet. There are several levels of underground construction, at least there still was in the early 2000s. High risk though, everything is coming down and rusting away, especially the iron ladders.
Slim and slender is the way to go through these catacombs. I am out since I built up muscles since then and also some fat eversince curfew, too.

A few years ago, I was in Cartagena, Colombia, which is one of my favourite places in the world. We visited a famous old fort which I had seen before, but this time we decided to go in. The guy warned us that we might feel claustrophobic and that we shouldn’t enter if that was a concern. I’m not usually affected by claustrophobia so I ignored him. Colombians are physically small to start with, and these tunnels were pitch dark and tiny. Within 2 min of entering, I had to leave. I couldn’t handle it.

UNRELATED EDIT: For over 30 years I have ignored TV and movies. Now this stupid curfew has me watching screens with moving pictures of people pretending to be other people again. I can feel myself losing IQ points every time I watch something. I think heroin has less side effects than TV.

I know exactly what You are talking about.
Sometimes, when not feeling like doing anything, I like to watch obese gamers and their streams with the same effect on me, up to the point, I feel like having gained weight after watching their shows for some time while eating.

Here are a couple of videos on Instagram. I don’t really feel like making a youtube page. The 2nd video is over 7 minutes long. You have to swipe right to continue. They are both quite boring, but Reg is bored so it might pass the time he has to kill over the next 2 months.

I went to Instagram (first time in about a year) and liked both your videos. lol. I also followed my sister back. She had apparently followed me some time ago and Instagram prompted me to follow her back. I can’t get into Instagram.

I go in phases there lol. Once life is back to normal I’ll go months without a post.

Totally inappropriate!!! At the very least, they should be made to sweat.

“Last month in the city of Nagpur, police were filmed forcing those who violated curfews to hold their ears and do exercise squats in the street.”

I’m not sure what the punishment should be. Probably a monetary fine. Certainly not jail. The point is to keep people away from each other. Jail does the opposite and for some people a monetary fine is more devastating than a night in jail.

A year in an indian prison contracting this could be a death sentence in India.

Does that go for the idiot protesters in Michigan Michele?

This is getting stupid.

An example is when Ottawa police slapped two young women with a $750 fine each (+ victim surcharge =$880) when they sat down together on a park bench but at each end, maintaining distance.

The bylaw officers issued them tickets for “ Failure to comply with order given during a declared emergency in contravention of the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act’.

It was a very heavy financial burden for the tearful women who had recently been laid off when the restaurant where they worked closed.

Looks like Florida is reopening their beaches.
