I thought you were kidding but I looked to be sure. Hope you all stay safe.
Oh her name is lyndsey graham. I support a 14 billion dollar fine.
So far so good. 75 minutes to go.
The tornadoes have passed. We are now in a tstorm watch. Which we get all the time. It was 81F today so I’m not surprised. No spring this year I guess. It was 31F yesterday.
I just read this. They sent Child Protective Services to her home, searched her home, questioned the kid without them present, and will issue her a $14k fine, all because she opened her hair salon early? This is serious police state stuff.
Also, I’m getting concerned that “wait until we flatten the curve” is turning into “wait until we find a cure or vaccine and it’s tested”.
No forward progress is going to cripple our nation but according to the healthcare industry the lockdown is necessary. It’s difficult to know what is right.
Honestly it’s not difficult from here. We need to open up as safely as we can, as quickly as we can. This means masks (screw Nico, he can stay inside for the rest of his life for all I care) and social distancing, and it means we all need to get friendly with antibacterial gel and soap. But it also means people need to go back to work and feed their families. I am personally witnessing starvation on a large scale. It’s insanity to tell people to starve to death so we can save lives.
How do you make that happen, Reg? People everywhere are defying authority to survive.
How? Let them go back to work. Put laws in place about masks and social distancing but let people have their lives and livelihoods back.
That sounds great in theory.
In reality, no one is going anywhere.
We go from May to June to August. Everyone needs hope for the future because businesses will open up eventually but we need to be preparing for the reality of a healthcare controlled long term lockdown, where possible.
I agree with you. What you said is what will probably happen. We’ve gone from “let’s open up once we flatten the curve” to “let’s open up when there’s a vaccine” and I absolutely guarantee you that the next line will be “let’s open up once the vaccine has been suitably tested” and then “let’s open up when there are no coronavirus cases in the world”.
I will continue to think it’s madness. The world will continue to not care what I think.
I think it’s exciting.
Madness is buying into to the idea that we need a lockdown and distancing. They are making me look at people in public places in a different way. They all look sick to me and I wonder if they might have the virus lol. Probably not but it is interesting how much everything is changing and has changed in the last 5 months.
That’s because you see it as madness. For what it appears to be on the surface. The depressing reality of hunger. Who can argue with that. It’s true and probably not much anyone can do about it.
For God did not destine us for wrath but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Yeshua the Messiah.
1 Thessalonians 5: 9
That should work there. People are too dumb here to put on a mask. I’m not sure what percent are going to refuse. 20%? Might be higher. You could just furlough all of them, but you’d still have a high unemployment rate. 20% might be way too high. I mean 100% of mayo clinic employees are wearing a mask. 100% at my hospital. Some people can’t be bothered to wear them for 30 minutes a week so I don’t know what they’re going to do.
Then put Nico them in prison.
there is only a lockdown if you choose to stay inside
in order to change the world and the people around you… you need to start with yourself;)
