Today they said, this will only be mandatory for ppl from outside the EU. For unvaxxed and pure EU citizens a test might be sufficient.
For dual citizens it is even thinkable that they cannot deny you entrance even if borders are closed. They proceeded likewise when Czech border was closed. You just had to go to a quarantaine. This is so insane…but hey, I am still fighting so it is all good.
This will never happen. Not for a job, nor my grandma nor my children. Only by physical force - and I don’t think they’ll go that far - in this era of the end-times.
I will reject this mark of

supposedly on july 1 there will be 3 options available in all countries of the european union:
“Three types of certificates will be available free of charge, in paper or digital format: one attesting vaccination with an EU-approved shot; a second showing negative test results; and the third for people who have recovered after having been infected with Covid-19.”
i can almost guarantee you that my country wont be ready before next year to provide any of these options lol they dont even know who they have vaccinated already…
i suspect its gonna be one big mess in (almost) all european countries

of course technically none of those 3 options are legally required to travel europe but you may have to stay in quarantine for a few days if you get caught and refuse to pay to get tested lol

Serious question, are border controls now in effect within Schengen?
of course during peak corona times borders were even closed but as far as i know all countries are lifting covid restrictions so not anymore

Then the passport is meaningless within Schengen. It will only affect those of us flying in from outside.

yes it will be even more fun for people travelling from outside into europe since there isnt 1 european app but all countries will have their own…

It will likely target people - EU and from outside the EU - travelling by plane first and foremost
E.g.: 2 months ago, quarantaine and test for airplane travellers to Spain and no such requirements when travelling by car/ bus, officially.
Sometimes I really love the Brussels bureaucrats because of their inefficiency
yes and there is hope for them too with some international airlines creating an app called iata travel pass… now all they have to do is convince all european countries to accept it as proof

Yes, good point, it will be implemented for air travel of course. Just road travel won’t be affected without border controls between nations.
