CIJA Wants You To Contact Minister Joly About Hezbollah I Did

It’s long overdue for the Canadian government and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mélanie Joly to condemn – clearly and unequivocally – Iranian-backed Hezbollah for its unprovoked attacks on Israeli civilians.

While Israel has been at war with Hamas in the south, Hezbollah has been launching rocket attacks from the north – actions it has undertaken for months with almost no comment from the Canadian government.

Tens of thousands of Israeli families have had to abandon their homes in the north to find refuge elsewhere. Many have been reported injured and homes and farms damaged. Hezbollah has released footage of their operatives firing on innocent Israeli civilians.

We have consistently called on the government to take a stand against this terror group attacking civilians. We even wrote an op-ed in January in the Toronto Star about this very issue.

As the threat of Hezbollah inciting war along the Israel-Lebanon border looms, Minister Joly must use Canada’s global voice to clearly state that Canada will not stand for Hezbollah’s relentless aggression.

Hezbollah is a listed terrorist entity in Canada. Its Iranian ties are no secret – the country is one of Hezbollah’s biggest backers. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps was recently added to Canada’s terror list. We cannot stand by as a terrorist group attacks civilians, incites conflict, and further destabilizes the Middle East.

The ties between Canada and Lebanon are deep and historic. We’re confident that, if the Canadian government showed leadership in pushing back against Hezbollah’s relentless aggression, it could help avert a potential war.

Nine months after Hezbollah began its deadly game of provocation against Israel, Canada must call out the dangerous influence and destructive role the terror group has been playing in the region. A failure to condemn Hezbollah’s terror attacks is only giving them free reign to push Israel toward yet another war.

It is essential that Canada demonstrate its support for Israel, our only democratic ally in the region, and show they understand the threat Hezbollah poses to civilians and to peace in the Middle East by condemning the terrorist group loudly and clearly

We need you to help send that message to Minister Melanie Joly and the Government of Canada. A government that claims to be committed to a peaceful resolution to the conflict must not fail to condemn Hezbollah’s dangerous and provocative aggression.

On behalf of the Jewish community in Canada and our many allies, tell the Canadian government that it must, by condemning Hezbollah’s actions, recognize the dangerous and destructive role Hezbollah has played in its targeting of Israel.

TAKE ACTION

Sincerely,
CIJA

I sent the email to Minister Joly.

A few rockets that hit dirt compared to tens of thousands of dead civilians. Easy choice.

What Israeli civilians?

Since that post the Houthi’s from Yemen the poorest country on Earth launched a missile on Tel Aviv that killed a Israeli and wounded others Israel then bombed Yemeni oil storage facilities killing 6 and setting off huge fires that towered over the minarets. How did Israeli military aircraft make it all that way and return unmolested? GOD BLESS THE IDF.

That was obviously necessary. Deplete or weaken the energy source so they can’t keep attacking.

:woman_shrugging:

I am impressed that they have bombed Syria over 80 times and never lost a aircraft to enemy fire. Assad what a horrible dictator uses poison on his own citizens and tortures and kills them Obama drew a line in the sand and Assad crossed it and Obama did nada. Same as he hooped the American reaction to the attempted coup of Edrogan in Turkiye a NATO ally saying America would work for whoever which pissed off Edrogan when he won. 15,000 political prisoners in Turkiye the last I looked it up.

Erdogan is a POS but he was fairly elected. I don’t get it but I don’t have to get it.

Perhaps Trump had better aim and focus.

Makes you wonder which one played the girl and if Michelle knew or joined in on their pre-agreed roles in their fake war for kickbacks scheme.
