wow lol ding wanted a draw by repetition but gukesh refused?

I like that. Stones.

yes! but if it backfires and he ends up losing this game its match over!

Looking horrible for Gukesh. I donā€™t know if itā€™s match over but itā€™s not great.

doesnt look that bad to me; as long as queens are on the board its most likely a draw

Yes, most likely, but Ding has a passed pawn and has real winning opportunities whereas Gukesh has nothing but hope for a draw. 3:46 am. I need to sleep. I hope I wake up to a draw.

well gukesh must have seen something or he would have taken the draw earlier lol
pleasant dreams

drawwww lol

Gukesh didnā€™t play well in game 1,5, or 6. Hopefully, he can pick it up. Still in ok shape.

I didnā€™t realize it was first to 7.5, not to 6.5.

yes but i think now gukesh might have the psychological advantage; he refused a draw where ding was a little better and then made him work for the drawā€¦

confusing the poor chinese while he already had mental issuesā€¦ mean! lol

My takeaway from this so far is that Gukesh isnā€™t as good as I had thought. Heā€™s still very young, though. I think Magnus wouldā€™ve crushed either of them, even though he doesnā€™t play classical much.

lmao

Iā€™m watching game 7 live. Ding is half an hour down on time already. Weird opening.

Gukesh is looking strong. Iā€™m not sure if itā€™s just Ding playing stupidly though.

lol looks like another drawā€¦

Iā€™m not sure. Ding is 40 min down on time and heā€™s playing defense.

yup gukesh position is definitely better but ding enjoys playing defensive and waiting for a mistake

wow, unbelievable how ding managed to draw!

This one is hard. It took me a while. No way Iā€™d find this in a game.
