I believe Pragg just became the top Indian in classical.
I usually root for Magnus. I think he’s funny at times and actually not boring at all. The only ones at the top with any rizz are Magnus, Hikaru, Nepo, Giri and Caruana and I only say Caruana, because he will give more than one word answers. If you think Magnus is is not someone to root for, wait 5 more years. Every top grandmaster in their 20s gives awful interviews. Maybe Magnus used to and there is hope.
As individuals, I like the Indians. As a country, eh.
2 Americans in the finals lol. Hans made the finals. Even if he is not likable, he has improved quite a bit. There’s no denying that. He just knocked Caruana out. Either of them deserves the title.
I hope Hans wins even though I dislike him a lot. I just think chess would be way more interesting with him in the top few. I would then cheer against him.
I keep saying this is the end of Magnus but he always seems to come back and win again. He is not dominating anymore but he’s still the best player in the world.
Pulse sounds like old Roman porridge and 57 makes me think of ketchup.
That sounds like healthy stuff with berries or coughing up blood.
Puls is nothing without salt. Do you know his salarium?
Interesting how you would call a time with zero on the clock as simply annul meaning nothing. No value to the game because of the absence of the concept of zero viewing the pieces exchange as market exchange and bartering only. Nulla the term.
C100 D500.
An abacus would be better gift for you than a chess set.
Do you still woodwork? We could make sets of Napier’s bones as well as a wooden abacus. .perhaps a slide rule with laminate. It would make for quite the trifecta.
I think Divya is the most beautiful female athlete in the world these days. If we call chess players athletes. She is certainly the most gracious chess player I’ve seen. Magnus won’t do selfies. Divya helps her fans take them.
