Cars

I noticed! You keep recycling with every puff you blow in my direction.

I drove this car today. (Thrilling) It’s owned by a man who lives in Dubai. We had really great conversation yesterday about Trump and religion. It was civil and I was impressed. He told me he believed Trump was doing great things in the USA. He agreed with what Trump is doing with China and the tariffs. He told me he was against Trump over Palestine and Israel. When he referenced Allah, I felt like he was referencing God, which goes to show how similar these two religions are even tho they are polar opposites.
Then he left and my next guest were returns from a few weeks ago. Tonight I found out the are very much against Trump. One thing stuck out in my mind that they said.
When I told them I stopped watching the news because shows like Hannity were repetitive and I was bored, they told me Fox News was brain washing me lol. I found that funny because no matter how awful Trump is, no one has a perfect losing streak. A fair media outlet reports the good with the bad news. According to every left-leaning news outlet, Trump did no good thing even once. (Now who is brainwashed)That is factually untrue and I found it ironic that they consistently said facts matter. They couldn’t get past the moral issue of Trumps behavior, even tho they have no problem sacrificing their strong moral belief for a woman’s right to choose to murder.
Rant over lol. Good night!

Trump has done a few good things, true. He has also done many more awful things.

Many Arabs like Trump, true. They also support their own grotesque tin pot dictators who often resemble Trump.

What has he done that’s good besides being pro vaccine?

He approved the Keystone and Dakota pipelines. Honestly that’s all I can think of although there may be more.

You must be joking.

Nope. I approve of both of those pipelines, especially the Dakota line. I realize I’m on my own with progressives on this, almost all of whom hate those pipelines. To me, the advantage of getting the US entirely off middle eastern oil outweighs the environmental risk. If the US had no energy interests in the middle east, that could literally be the biggest springboard to world peace in our lifetimes. I also think it would be good for the world if the Arabs had a lot less money, but that’s just a secondary bonus.

I see your point but I guess we’ll have to agree to disagree on this one.

Tesla’s major factory in China is making progress. They are likely going to make Tesla’s in China and sell them in Europe. Production is supposed to start this year. Auto manufacturers get quite a break there for EVs and nobody makes more electric cars than China. He is getting slack for this. I won’t judge. Easy to throw stones. Tesla barely seems like a US company. Maybe, because musk isn’t American. I don’t think he is a fan of the president. This move will lay off Americans. It already has.

Why do you care? You didn’t bitch when 5 million factory jobs were moved over seas during the Obama administration and 70,000 factories were lost.

It’s gotten to the point where many dirty truths are coming out and has also reached the point where they no longer give a damn about keeping it secret. This applies across industry and government. Now they just put it in our face.

One side effect of that is it makes a peaceful transition to a new economic system unlikely. I wouldn’t be surprised to see rich people lynched within my lifetime.

We might have to eat a bit of cake first.

We are already.

The problem is that it needs to be made to look like a self-inflicted lynching. Perhaps someone has written a book on it.

Snakes eat dirt, rats and crow.

Giggle* I bet you read that somewhere.

Indeed. Perhaps the Bible.

I agree it’s really the only one you need for every answer.

Jaguar land rover is not doing well. I don’t think anyone is dumb enough to buy a jaguar nowadays, but I’m sure there are Americans dumb enough to buy a land rover.

Jaguar is now going completely electric. So I’m not sure what that means for their overpriced suv. Last ditch effort I suppose. They already have the ipace which costs 70000, twice as much as a kona or leaf.

I wonder what the “f” stands for.
