Not really any point in trying to get China back. Sometimes, damage is permanent. They’ve moved on and are not going to stop working with Brasil, no matter what the USA does. Sometimes, the wrong decision has longlasting consequences.

Smart people realize that a true free trade agreement like the one Canada had with the US benefits everyone. The USA won and so did we. We didn’t charge tariffs on much, and neither did the US. It was a sophisticated, well planned approach to trade and both countries thrived under this agreement.
Stupid people think that, because one side does well, it must be bad for the other side. They react by tearing up the agreement because, well, if the other guy is doing well, it must mean that we’re being screwed. This is, of course, simpleminded idiocy, and it harms both parties.
So yes, Michele, it is right vs wrong. The smart people are right. The stupid people are wrong. Just ask Ronald Reagan.
