This thread made me think of a pic I posted many years ago on the old site. I remember giving it the title, ‘A day on the farm with Pete and Mat’. I’m trying to remember who Mat was. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t ‘madshaolin’ Mat. Anyone remember?
Probably not Madshaolin although his name is also Matt. Matt was probably the former US Marine who joined us a lot on the Zone. His health went to hell and the US health care system left him to die. He got no support from the military either. I vaguely recall he was wounded in the wrong place or he would have received a disability pension. I assume he is dead now. The world is unkind at times.
However I find the insinuation that that old goat Pete would eat out a sheep to be believable.

He was always a lot of fun - at BBAD and in Zone. Sad for him. Yes, the world is definitely unkind at times.
Somehow I just don’t believe it was exactly like this and I was thinking the injury was to his back.
Perhaps not. That was his story. How much it had to do with reality is obviously something I’ll never know. I also recall the injury was to his back.

Exactly. If he had killed the horses and eaten their dead bodies, he would be fine with the law (horsemeat is legal in the UK) but instead he screws them and lets them go unharmed and gets a year in jail.
