Indeed. They could also know if they click the big link to this forum I put on the left of the BBAD Fediverse site. lol. I am not hiding this forum. I just note that most people on the fediverse don’t care about forums. They like the fediverse.

BBad did not “join” anything, unless you count subscribing to a federated server as joining something. BBAD has four sites: Forums, Chat, Blab and now Fediverse. One can go to any of those sites without being bothered by the others if they choose not to be. For many years (perhaps a decade, I can’t remember) there have been dozens of drunken Lithuanians on BBAD. Have any of you seen them? Choose where you want to be. Use what you want. Don’t use what you don’t want. It’ll be fine.

I screwed up and had to reinstall the fediverse server. Anyone who wants to use it will have to sign up again. Sorry about that.
If we get any new people, I hope they can play chess.

I don’t think any of them will come here. It’s just a totally different vibe.
I added about 6 peers and now it’s super active. It’s tough to keep up. During spurts there are a dozen or more posts per minute. Even in quiet times there are still usually a couple of posts per minute. It feels like Twitter but with no censors so there’s a lot of outrageous crap. Given the volume, you don’t post things assuming your friends will see it. There’s too much and there’s no attempt at organization. You just post for the masses and engage in endless short conversations with whoever happens to be there. There’s no such thing as “on topic” since there are no topics.
I prefer it to Twitter because there’s no censorship. Censorship is effectively impossible there with 4000 sites intertwined. I could ban someone from the BBAD Fediverse and they’d just move to any of 4000 other servers and post to the same Fediverse.
I like it and I’m happy I spent the time to do it, but overall I much prefer this place. That said, I’ll probably post there a few times a day, too. It’s nice to have options
You are living in the past, like you were wiped out and saved so pitifully in 2000 in some chess room. You want everyone with same computer generated names so you can have people return to your forum. Look how you keep doing it to me trying to attract people to return. Every post by some people they make sure to call me by the same thing I asked them not to.
You are stuck and can’t even change out your under attire.
Start working on a place for them and yourself in the afterlife, when they are dead as several now are. Let people move on in this life and be free to use the restroom.
