Today marks 100 years of Surrealism. I admit, I had never heard of such a thing. Now I understand why. It’s basically putting on a blindfold and drawing or painting with broad strokes, creating nothing from nothing and labeling it art. These are the types of images you see in museums and I confess, I’ve never been inside a museum and to this day, I do not think I’m missing much.
I still have Michael Parkes and George Grie in my house.
